Pregnancy is a truly special and transformative time, and I believe it’s the perfect opportunity to experience the incredible benefits of yoga. I absolutely love sharing pregnancy yoga with women during this extraordinary journey, helping them feel empowered, supported, and deeply connected to themselves.

My yoga classes are welcoming, inclusive, and open to everyone - whether you are new to yoga or have practiced before. From 12 weeks of pregnancy right up until birth, and from 6 weeks postpartum, these sessions are here to nurture and support you every step of the way.

Gentle & Nurturing Pregnancy Yoga in North London

Pregnancy yoga is a gentle, nurturing practice that weaves together breath, movement, and relaxation. It’s a beautiful way to connect with your changing body and growing baby while maintaining strength and balance in the lead-up to birth.

Pregnancy yoga supports your body through the physical and emotional shifts of pregnancy, helping you stay strong, supple, and present. It deepens your bond with your baby, bringing a sense of calm and connection. Like all yoga, it builds strength, stamina, and supports your overall well-being.

In my classes, we’ll practice breathing techniques, visualisation, and positive affirmations - powerful tools to help you stay calm and grounded during pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Joining a class isn’t just about the yoga - it’s also a chance to connect with other expectant mums, share experiences, and build a supportive community that continues beyond birth.

Strengthening & Supportive Postnatal Yoga in North London

Postnatal yoga is a wonderful way to heal, strengthen, and nurture yourself after birth. These classes also provide a great opportunity to connect with other mums in a welcoming, supportive environment.

My Postnatal Yoga classes are designed for you and your baby to enjoy together. We incorporate movement, pelvic floor exercises and breath to ease tension and rebuild strength, all while fostering a positive bond with your little one. Each session ends with a relaxing moment for you both to enjoy together.

Throughout the class, you’re welcome to feed, cuddle, or change your baby as needed.

Classes are suitable from 6 weeks postpartum until your little one starts crawling. If you’ve had a belly birth or assisted delivery, it’s best to wait until 8 weeks postpartum to give your body time to heal.

  • I’ve been going to Jos’s pregnancy yoga classes for both my first and (now) second pregnancies and found them extremely useful. It’s quite relaxing, focused on breathing techniques to help throughout pregnancy and during labour as well as positions to help on the different stages. Plus the emotional support to have a beautiful and calm birth.

  • I took Jos' prenatal classes at Life By Margot on Thursday evenings from around 15 weeks until birth. As a teacher, Jos is incredibly supportive, knowledgeable and generous with her time. whilst there is focus on strength development, huge emphasis goes on developing a connection with your baby and body through breathing and visualisation. Whilst my birth ended up as a last minute elective caesarean, the breathing, visualisation and mindfulness played a huge part in overcoming the fear of surgery, and I firmly believe directly contributed to my successful recovery.

I looked forward to my weekly class all through my pregnancy and I can’t recommend it enough for relaxation, bonding with your baby and general labour / birth prep. The breathing techniques and movements I learned in Jos’s class were so helpful to get me through my labour - which was long and painful with a back to back baby. I believe I never would have been able to manage my labour without the help of Jos’s techniques and hypnobirthing which I did alongside. Thank you Jos for everything you do!
